One of our biggest recent projects is “The Lodges”, a first of its kind transitional housing community that we built in partnership with CCJ. This nationally recognized shelter provides individuals in our community with dignified transitional housing while they build a financial foundation for a better life. As a homebuilder, this is a cause we care deeply about and we were honored to partner with CCJ and our incredible team of trades to build this shelter.
Ending Homelessness in the Prescott Area
The Coalition for Compassion and Justice has collaborated with Dorn Homes to develop a new affordable housing property in Prescott. The Lodges house 4-6 individuals that would otherwise be living in a shelter. Dorn Homes built two Lodges locally as part of the effort to end homelessness in the Quad Cities.
